ND Loan Repayment & Scholarships Information

  • OADN Scholarship Program
    The Organization for Associate Degree Nursing Foundation provides annual scholarships to students in Associate Degree nursing programs.
  • ND AHEC Stipend Programs
    The ND Area Health Education Center has multiple funding opportunities to those that complete clinical rotations and internships in rural or underserved areas. The AHEC Scholars program is a two-year program, offering $500 per year following completion of program requirements (this program is best suited for students who are going to complete both years of the Dakota Nursing Program). The clinical rotations program provides $250 stipends for students that are doing rotations in a rural or underserved setting that require out of pocket costs.
  • ND Career Builders Scholarships  – The ND Career Builders Scholarship and Loan Repayment Program is a unique partnership between the state and private sector business, whereby for each dollar of private support received, the state will contribute a dollar of public funding. If the student has support from a private sector business, the money from the business will be met by the Career Builder Program. The student should contact the financial aid office at their campus about the program.
  • The DEAL Student Loan can help you cover the cost of attending college if federal loans, grants, scholarships and savings don’t meet funding needs. It can be used for undergraduate and graduate classes. Talk to your employer about utilizing this option to payoff your loan in return for retention.
  • National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program

  • TNAA (Travel Nurse Across America)
    $2,500 scholarship available to Registered Nurses seeking their BSN.
  • North Dakota Blue Cross Blue Shield- $2,500 Health Profession Scholarship
    Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation is investing in health profession education by offering a scholarship program to help address and strengthen the healthcare workforce shortage and provide financial assistance to these aspiring students.

  • North Dakota Blue Cross Blue Shield- $5,000 Healthcare Leader Scholarship
    The purpose of this scholarship is to identify, cultivate and advance the next generation of health care leaders in North Dakota. Applicants will develop an innovative and impactful project in the area of health care which incorporates a leadership development plan designed to support a successful project outcome, as well as academic and personal growth. The scholarship winner will receive a total of $5,000 to offset their school tuition costs.
